K.I.S.S. Shipping Info
Shipping can be a highly confusing and complicated industry unless you're a big fan of logistics (and we know that's a possibility with our fellow mathematicians out there). We try to keep our shipping and delivery methods as simple and as fair as possible.
One Flat Rate, All The Time, No Gimmicks
One thing we absolutely hate is to find something we love on the internet, go to buy it and then shipping costs just seem astronomical. Since we try to be as intelligent as possible around here at da Vinci's Room we decided that we're going to offer one flat rate, no matter how many items you pile up or how heavy the shipment gets every day, no fuss, no codes, just an easy checkout option that doesn't give you nightmares and keep you up at night after calculating shipping.
Shipping & Handling Time
Once your order is received and payment is processed we typically have orders processed within 2-3 business days. Then our default method of shipping is either UPS or Fedex Ground for an estimated 3-5 day delivery window. Very light items are most often shipped First-Class Mail with the United States Postal Service which is a 2-5 day delivery window. Once your order has shipped we'll send you tracking information for your package or packages. Most carriers can take a business day or two to update tracking information (especially with USPS) so we'd ask you be a little patient as its not something we can control.
For Small Town Residents with Specific Shipping Requirements
You live in a small town that doesn't have all of the regular mail delivery options available and that's okay. If you know that you need a particular carrier type because you are in a very rural location and some delivery methods won't make it to you please let us know that in the notes during checkout.
Multiple Warehouse Locations
On occasion your shipment might be divided depending on where your items are coming from. A very common scenario with this is when ordering t-shirts from our site along with other cool gadgetry or toys as almost all of our apparel is print on demand. No worries though, shipping charges won't change it still stays the same flat rate as any other time. We'll also provide tracking information for each package so you can see their route in transit.
We're sorry fellow international nerds, but we're not currently shipping anything outside of the U.S. We know that some other geek related stores which shall remain unnamed have historically had problems with import taxes you aren't informed about, super high international shipping costs and other simply annoying problems with international shipping. We want to make sure that we get all the logistics figured out to help our international friends be able to order from us without all the hassle that can sometimes be associated with other websites. Check back with us, I'm sure we'll make a big announcement once we start opening up international shipping channels.
